I began working on a new Articles section, but the code needed so much work that I preferred to postpone it for a while. I still have the data of the existing articles section, and all the articles will be back in the new section when it is done - unfortunately, due to time constraints, this won't probably be before a few weeks from now. That's why I linked the forum articles instead.
I get "Registered users can post here. Sign in or register to post." on the bottom of page 1 of the current thread but not on page 2
( while logged in )
The plus sign doesn't show up in post but it shows in preview
Yes, but now you have a choice whether to reload the page or not. If you need to make a quick but informative post and don't care much about whether you were ninja'd or not, then alright. If you do... Ctrl/Cmd + R takes less than half a second to press... ;)
Could it be that the (char)43 issue is a problem with the font? In the titles, the pluses do show up fine. I've also seen them in some [code] blocks...
I was just pointing out that some users, albeit with the best intentions, often try to argue rationally with trolls, which tends to excite them (the trolls) because that's how they get their "fix". I meant no offense :/
It looks like once you get about 20 posts the delete button becomes a report button. What would happen if a troll got 20 posts before anyone was able to stop him/her. Did you implement time based priveleges as well?
I don't know if this is desired, but I have a reeeeaaallly old account, long dead, that I just checked on, and the delete other's posts button is available to that account as well. I think it had like 5 posts, it's just way old.
One thing I noticed is that we can no longer view the last five posts of a user as a part of their profile. Out of curiosity, why the change? I don't mind it necessarily, but I am curious. :)
Problem with the PM. If I want to see the user account (clicking in from) it sends me to this http://www.cplusplus.com/user/43wk4iN6/
Sender in the Inbox seem to work fine
