So, what games did you used to love (and still play?) Sure the new games have a few more bits per pixel, but can they really measure up to the classics?

I grew up on Macs, so I wasn't into the whole DOS gaming experience.

Although my friend introduced me to X-Com many years later, and it's amazing:

Way ahead of its time.

Kind of feels funny when the futuristic setting of these games is now the past.
I still play some DOS games,
my favourite are Rayman ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayman_%28video_game%29 )
and Dragonsphere ( http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/942/Dragonsphere.html )
Space Cab!! I don't have it cause it's apparently Mac only...but back in school, I rocked that game.
Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2, Day of the Tentacle, you know.
Prince of Persia.
Spent many hours with that one..
Dungeon master.
Prince of Persia.

I never played the DOS version. But the SNES version was freaking amazing.
Colonization. I haven't played it in years, but it's probably the game I spent more time with ever.
Ultima VII part 1 and 2, Betrayal at Krondor, and Master of Magic were probably my favorites. Still play them from time to time.
Doom 1 & 2
Wolfenstein 3D (Used to mod it :D)
Duke Nukem
Screamer 2 (1996) - sensational sliding, fantastic soundtrack

Moto Racer (1997) - breakthrough for DirectX-Games on PC

Comanche (1992) - astonishing Voxel Space graphic

Lemmings (1991) - ingeniously, timeless

Lemmings (1991) - ingeniously, ageless

Again... I never played the DOS version, but the SNES version was epic.
