"Please use

tags" as a sticky?

What do you guys think of adding a sticky post to Beginners with a title like "Please use [ code ] [ /code ] tags" and a brief explanation on how to use them? I know many of the users would just ignore it anyway, but maybe it would reduce the huge number of first time posters who don't use them.

I wouldn't care really.

I'm not sure how many would read it, but you can all-ways ask twicker.
how about: http://www.cplusplus.com/articles/firedraco1/
I don't think it would stop them. The offenders don't take the time to notice the format menu on the right what makes you think they'll notice a stickied post? :) Half the time they're in the wrong forum.
When I came on this forum, I had never used a programming forum before, or any other kind of forum. I didn't know what code tags were. I didn't know what tags were at all. I did however, read "Read this before posting". If how to use tags were just put in there, I would have known to do it for my first post.
I agree with Browni3141. I think that I saw a post that had syntax highlight and looked in the source code of the page.
Do you think that this is effective?
"Your code goes here"
Edit: It doesn't show up in the source code
