I always take my ring out for interviews/work already. I do hope to go in to game development but I'm not planning to burn any bridges either. So far it seems that the consensus says take it out :O

In my country, tattoo can be a sign of triad membership in the past but nowadays the local police still keep a look-out for tattoo-ed fellows. I guess old habits die hard :P
