I would make a bad forum moderator

Helios is in Argentina. Or at least we know he was before we lost contact...

Argentina where the notorious football legend Maradona hail from? So Tango originate from Argentina? I know Brazilian samba dance is cool and very eye-catching performance :P

South America produce lot's of beauty queens. I wonder if it is in their genes or not but I guess if I will visit them I would be a dwarf among them. They are so *TALL* :O
They are not all that tall in Brazil as you would think. There are a lot of men who do prefer tall women though, and the famous models and such are tall, but on average the people aren't really that tall here. There are even ugly people here too... I would point to myself, but I'm an American living here, so I don't really count. ;p
Scandinavians and Eastern Europeans <3
I'm confused; what happened to this conversation D:
Don't you see? They're testing Disch's ability to Moderate and keep threads on topic :P.
Most thread in the lounge section end up like this...

... better to end up like this than to end up as a C++ vs Scala discussion ;^)
@ Bazzy: So sort of like Godwin's Theory but ending up at a different destination?
Computergeek01, does that sort of lend evidence to Godwin's law by bringing it up, since you discuss the subject of it indirectly even if you don't do so directly?
Sort of like entropy in an isolated system
You mean it doesn't decrease..? I don't get it.
Yes, entropy in a lounge thread can only increase.
eg: In this thread nobody will be able to enforce it back to the original topic
I like to think I'd make an alright moderator. I'd be fair and I don't think the power would go to my head too much. The only problem would be commitment, I'd probably be unmotivated and lazy.
I would definitely not be a good moderator. I have little patience and a trigger finger. Post in the wrong forum BLAM!!! No code tags??!! BANNED!!!
Delete sohguanh's post with a little judicious "off-topic" moderation and all order would be restored. Entropy would decrease.

But this is the lounge... this is where we store our "waste heat" so to speak. If we cannot go off-topic here, what would happen?

The Gordian Knot of moderation.

And, surprisingly enough, we are back on topic. How the hell did that happen?
I don't know if I would appreciate your moderation, Return 0... although I do like seeing the code tags... What would you do if someone puts a lot of "..." when they type?
No I wouldn't be that nuts. I would be a fairly decent moderator... but I must admit I would ban that guy that started every sentence with //. Something about it really bothered me. I agree with chrisname though, commitment would be an issue on my end. I have only very short bursts of time to get on during the work day and I wouldn't want the hassle.
but I must admit I would ban that guy that started every sentence with //

I hated that too. There was just something so assholish about it.
I think the "//" was trying to tell you to ignore that part or something. So I could be typing this post and putting notes to self without you knowing about it..

// Make sure you remove this note before you post this...

or something like that. Either way, Commented lines are only good if there is code to go with it, and since it doesn't sound like there was code, then they were pretty useless... Kind of like my blabbing about nothing in this post...
That's what the real purpose would be, but he said that

@Bazzy,
It looks like lounge entropy can temporarily decrease, but will eventually increase again. Either way, I seem to have broken thermodynamics by getting the thread back on topic.
