Google Go

Has anyone here given this language any action? I've been reading up on it recently and I've made a few small test applications. I gotta say: It's different, but in a good way. I really really like it :O.

Anyways, what's all your views on this experimental language?
I haven't tried it mainly because it reminds me a bit of Python, Ruby, Java and a couple of other languages. I just don't like the look, and I have a hunch that I'll dislike the feel of it even more. Maybe once it is out of its infancy I will try it.

I'm fairly open-minded and curious, but that language looks like a melding pot of Bad Things to me.
Well it compiles fast and the byte code runs faster, so I'm pretty much sold.

I haven't tried it yet, but I like how it borrows many concepts from Dynamic/Interpreted languages and rolls them up into a slick, high performance, compiled language. Google knows their shit
I'll wait until school ends (Julyish) before I try and learn a new language but I'll take a look at it.

Wow this is the first Runtime language I actually want to learn. It looks nice but like chrisname said after school (and my other projects).
