Wierd Things You've Eaten

Oh, I've eaten pencil lead/shavings before, and some iodine. I've also snorted sherbert. I don't recommend you try it. Basically, your nose will sting like crazy for a few seconds, and then you'll sneeze and large globs of coloured snot will fire out of your nose. And then it stings some more.
@chrisname:
You're insane! Did you do this of your own free will?

In middle school some of my friends snorted puppy chow. It gave them nosebleeds.

Yeah, it was all by choice. I don't know why I did it though.
you were twelve perhaps?
@chrisname

lol. I'm sorry if this is rude but your story is awesome! "you'll sneeze and large globs of coloured snot will fire out of your nose. And then it stings some more." Sounds like an interesting experience.
@Seraphimsan,
Around that age, yeah.

@thepedestrian,
It was interesting for everyone else. It was nearer to painful for me.
yea that's my excuse for damn near everything i did that was stupid when i was a kid "i was <=twelve at the time"
I ate a birds nest. The nest was made of edible plant and was cooked in a soup. And yes, it tasted like crap.

I think bird nest is the saliva from the swallow correct ? Over a period of time the nest is formed and ppl go and harvest it. Of cuz the "raw" bird nest will go through another process of cleaning etc before ship out for selling.

In my country, bird nests can be expensive or cheap (depend on the grade). Heard from elders it can "smooth-en" and beautify one's face (as in more radiant and lively). I dunno if eating bird nest can make one look younger but no harm trying anyway :P
