This isn't about programming languages but instead it's about regular languages like French and English. Namely I was curious to know what you think of this: I've decided to type everything I post or comment on Facebook in French. What is it to you? Comical? Jerk behavior? Interesting? What?
Yep. It'd be the same if you talked to people in the wrong language. It's neither funny nor rude nor interesting. It's just two people unable to communicate.
When done on purpose it becomes stupid.
Ok, I see this requires more explanation since all of you missed the point. Leaving aside thetroglodyte's comment, the purpose of this experiment was to see how many people start learning French (using Google Translator and then slowly recognizing words). Also, most people I care about either know French to some degree or can puzzle it out. I'm actually hoping it works.
Ok, sorry. You're right it did fail to mention it.
I'm not following.
What's there not to follow? By using Google Translator, they will understand what I've said. After a while, they will start recognizing some of the words I use. After enough time, they will effectively learn French (a little)...

? -> "T' ace not included/understood. I am French."
That one's pretty obvious. "You don't understand. I'm French."
I would have expected "you don't understand" to be "te ne pas compris". Is "t'as" a contraction?
Yes, it means "tu as". Coloquially, it is ok to ommit the "ne". "T'as pas compris" would mean "Tu n'as pas compris", which means "you didn't understand". My french is very rusty, though.
the thing is that 'type' has various meanings. you have to find the right one. not a bad exercise for expressing oneself clearly which even helps finding the right name for say a class or variable.
@ filipe
the problem is the reduction of a word to a single letter + '. that's not easy to translate (using Bable Fish)
