Open webpage in Internet Explorer

Hello all,

I was wondering, I'm opening a webpage, say, http://www.cplusplus.com/forum using Internet Explorer, and I want to write a c++ program to copy a link, do something with, like remove the http:// or whatever, then return it back...

Anyway to do so?
