Problem with finding dell drivers.

Hi.
I just bought a n5010 Dell laptop.
in Dell.com there's only windows 7 64-bit drivers.
Where Can I find its 32-bit drivers ?
Thanks :-)

Why do you need the drivers?

If you just bought it, the drivers you need should be already installed. If there are only 64bit drivers on the website, it's probably because they only offer that laptop with a 64bit Operating System.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?
When I bought It no OS was installed on it !!!
There was no Driver CD with it. Just an Open source DOS :-D

Please Help me.
Thanks.
If it is an 64-bit system, run and 64-bit OS on it...

Then I suggest getting a hold of a 64bit version of Windows 7...or....install Ubuntu instead?

I haven't looked at them all, but the ones I have looked at all say:
Operating systems
Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit
Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bit
when you click on Verify Operating System and Product Compatibility.
It Can run 32-bit OS too.

It may be able to run a 32-bit OS as well, as 64 bit is for the most part backward-compatible with 32-bit hardware. However, if 32-bit drivers aren't made, you're out of luck. Get the 64-bit version of Windows 7.

Besides, if you're computers fully capable of running a 64-bit OS, its worth spending the extra buck to grab the proper OS. That's twice as many bits it processes at a time. It adds up.

Best answer I've heard so far. If you have the 32-bit version (assuming you didn't get it OEM from Newegg or something) then you should also have the 64-bit disk. If not then you'll just end up paying the amount everyone normally does.

Or he could just install Ubuntu
Or slackware.
Because of dearth of 64-bit Software , I Want to Install 32-bit OS on it.
32-bit Softwares are more than 64-bit Softwares.

anyway, Thanks for Answering my question :-)

If you are running 64bit Windows, it is likely that you will (for the most part) be able to run 32bit software on it without a problem.

I do it all the time.
