Over time, I've lost what some people consider makes someone "nub". It comes with experience. However, I enjoy looking at my first posts. My post in this forum isn't exactly dumb since I had been studying Java as a beginner language.

This isn't actually my first topic. I'm a bit embarrassed, but here's _my_ first post: http://rosebum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5442
This was obviously when I didn't understand that giving full answers to a question is a bad idea. It doesn't come close to yours, but it's still stupid, considering how much of a thread policebird I act like now.
I cannot find my first post.
The question I asked has still not been answered.
[edit] BTW, "nub" in English is pronounced with an open ("short") U, and is a word referencing a knob or small protuberance. "noob" is pronounced with the "long" U.
I have posted on another forum but I forget where it was, what my username and password were, etc.
Here's my first post on this forum that I can find: http://cplusplus.com/forum/beginner/10502/
Silly me, "sounds alot more elementary than it is" (no it doesn't, stupid, it's simple) :D

Oh gawd... such humble beginnings...
Edit 2: almost 3000 posts later, not much has changed:
Ah, yes. I remember my last post as a noob. It was on CodeGuru several years ago, about why my file I/O operations were failing past a certain point (spoiler: I was opening as text. Curse you, K&R. What were you thinking?). I was even failing to read links posted by the people replying. If I saw that self today on the tubes, I'd slap him. What an idiot.
Haha, well we all have our days. I'm still studying so I know I have some noob in me. Worst part is when someone answers your question though and you just facepalm yourself... Why didn't I think of that!!!
