While a lot of his topics in the lounge have certainly been highly polarized and controversial, he hasn't been in any way impolite. Constructive is, of course, another matter entirely, but I for one have found most of his topics here rather entertaining even if they aren't exactly constructive. That's coming from a person who has, for the most part, disagreed with pretty much everything he's posted so far.
They've also been noticably more active than other lounge topics lately as well. I make no claims as to what that means, just an observation.
but I do feel I have been polite and politically correct by not talking about race, gender, sex, drugs or canadians.
Wait. It's not politically correct to talk about Canadians? Damn it! What about the French? Can I still bash them without PC repurcussions?
your just a hater. You guys just can't handle good discussions that are constructive or polite because most of you tear everybody down to puff yourselves up.
Careful now, that's starting to cross the line of politeness.
I know I've contributed to the fire at some times, but the overall quality of this forum seems to be in decline. From lunatics in the lounge to constant thread hijacking... I think Grey Wolf had the right idea...

More like we tell you you're wrong because you are.

Man, Canadians are damn manly, with their tartan shirts and bagged milk, which I adamantly believe all Canadian lumberjacks (i.e. all Canadians) wear and drink.
The only manlier occupation than being Canadian is programming, obviously.
