If your wondering about the name "C++", it refers to one step beyond C. As in the case of an post-increment.

I think most people realised that it was referring to the postfix increment operator... but did
you
know it was originally called "C with Classes?" Because that's what it is. Except now it has templates and namespaces and what-not too.
