Find Registry Keys in Windows
Does anyone know how to find registry keys set by an installer? I would think that they'd be in the same section or something. I have no experience with the registry, so I'm lost.
Open up regedit and you'll probably find it in Hkey local machine. I can't say for sure.
You have to find by trial and error, and that's also how you determine the effects of values. Remember that the registry is in no way connected to your file system - there are no "directories". There are organized data values to track various things. So be sure to back up before you break something.
