Shouldn't an EMP bomb kill you?

Matrix 1, 2, 3 (Personally I preferred the first).
Terminator 1,2,3,4....etc
Firefly series, Damn Jos not doing more series ! or yea and Serenity I guess.
Aliens 1,2,3,4,5...
Aliens is good, Matrix 1 is good and Terminator 1, 2 and 3 are good (not seen the new one).
My favorite sci fi series hasn't hit the big (or small) screen, and I doubt it ever will.

The Gap Cycle.

Not for the feint of heart. It's brutal.
I should have remembered the fact that they don't yet exist

The above appears to be factually false, as the below link shows. Although I cannot make a judgement on Wikipedia's accuracy or the details/effects of the weapon, here is the link. It's about a human-carried EMP device, developed decades ago.

They also have a heartbeat sensor attachment for your guns (yes a gun that picks up heartbeats).
So? Rainbow Six had a heartbeat monitor, but I wouldn't call its genre science fiction.
Also, science fiction is a narrative genre, not a video game genre.

So I was just giving another example (aside from an EMP), of the science fiction elements in COD4:MW2.

I mean that WAS in the same category as what the OP was talking about.

Just because there isn't some official game naming their genre as science fiction doesn't mean it isn't science fiction lol. That's exactly what COD4:MW2 is.

Why is that so far-fetched? They have those in real life, they use them to detect illegal immigrants coming to England from Calais.
