Compatibility?

They are all compatible (I've never heard of compatibility issues between CPU and graphics card, but yes the motherboard supports both of those).

Oh, just wait. I betcha that at some point, Intel+Nvidia will find a way to collaboratively screw over AMD by breaking compatibility somewhere. [/cynic]

But otherwise, yes. That combination should work fine. Make sure your PSU is decent enough for the graphics card and processor, though.

@TheRabbit.. Yeah I guess it is, 500W should be decent enough. I want to keep some headroom though, in case I decide to upgrade the graphhics later on..
I'd be grateful if you could check out my other post, listing the specs of the (budget?) pc I'm trying to build..
@resident.. Oh okay, but will the graphics card be, you know, used to its full potential irrespective of the CPU? Does it only depend on the slot type? (ie exp 3.0 /2.0)
