Anyone else notice that orange and red get mixed up a lot?

I guess that, after all, my car isn't an odd shade of purple. While it is parked near our house it looks sooooo much purple than in that pic (which, btw, isn't a pic I took, but that's the same colour).

I take solace in knowing that somewhere the exact color of your car is stored in a computer system or filing cabinet for them to make more paint of that color. It's not like they just mixed random colors together and nobody has any real idea what color it actually is.

@Duoas: although that screenshot is over a year old, what happened was that we (the entire server) got into an argument about whether the /me text was purple or pink. The exact color is "dark_purple":

The closest thing to pink is "light_purple".

As the red and blue are the same level, it is definitely Magenta.
EDIT: As in web magenta not 'process magenta' (subtractive primary color). Process magenta has more red so it is more in the pink side of things.
