Looking for part-time C++ position.

Hi all, I'm an intermediate C++ programmer and linux system administer. I started having some trouble with my wrists about four years ago and dropped out of full-time development. I've been coding on my own while working part-time teaching, so my skills are still usable, but I'm having trouble finding anyone interested in a part-time developer.

Remotely taking up the slack of an older developer who would like to cut back on his/her hours would be ideal. I could learn from him/her, give him/her the break he/she should get, and keep my keyboard time below my safety threshold.

Anyone have any thoughts where to look for something like this? Everything I can find is full-time or more.

Cheers,

Jivan
First off, I wouldn't advertise that you have bad wrists so bluntly. There are ways to inform prospective employers of disabilities and you usually want to wait until you have some face time... or later.

Secondly, this isn't realistic. There are few part time developers, especially C++ dev and the ones that you find will be contractors working 12 hours for 2 or 3 days, which I suspect will break the threshold. You might want to consider looking for a dual role position where you can code and do some light entry half the time. QA Engineers will often code half the time and test the other half... then again you'll still be at the keyboard all day.
