Browsing experience

I have been a little bit disappointed with my browsing experience

Around half a year ago I buy a new laptop (A451LN) with i5-4200u processor and gt840m gpu which is great. I played many games which I cant play in my old laptop (Aspire aspire 4320) but browsing experience kinda around a bit faster.
I can say that the processor is more than twice as fast as the old core 2 duo. The old intel integrated card is less powerful than the one in i5-4200u (I read somewhere in the manual that the GPU is turn off if the graphics need is low). my ram is 4GB compared to 3GB but ...

my chrome crash more often now. Switching between tabs still lagged.

Is it me having a bias or is it just that browser is just simply bad at caching and utilizing the processor ?
I've never had any problems with chrome on any computer I have used. Firefox is also really good. You could try using that. You may also want to go to chrome:/conflicts and see if you have any conflicts that could be making your chrome act that way.
