Wow... I never thought that pronouncing may be so hard!
But I've always pronounced "stroustrup" correctly...
Btw, how do you pronounce FAQ? because in my native language "FAQ" is pronounced as "f**k you".

I pronounce it "fack". I'm from the US, but others might pronounce it differently.

Wiktionary gives this two:
/ɛf.eɪ.kjuː/ ie: F.A.Q.
/fæk/ ie: 'fack'

@helios
I would have thought you would have pronounced it as

een tay herr

(or something like that)

Woot! My first hijacked topic! Anyway, I pronounce FAQs like 'facks'.

Duoas: Now that you mention it, yes, I think I've seen a few people pronounce the g as a hard ch (it sounds kind of like when you try to get something out of your throat), but the rest of us were trying to emulate the English pronunciation.
The people who say intejer are the same kind of people who say double or gogle, instead of dabl and gugl.

I like Spanish pronunciation. Everyone talks about how nice French sounds, I prefer Spanish personally. Although the best sounding language IMO has to be either Finnish or Russian, albeit true that a Nigerian accent speaking English sounds amazing.

I like Germans, they get kinda violent sometimes, it makes me feel warm inside.

Are we still talking English pronounciation? I've always pronounces integer with a soft g.

EDIT: And I apparently also pronounce "pronounced" with an s.

No, that's in Spanish phonetic spelling. The closest in English phonetic spelling would be een-teh-her.
For the other two, that would be doh-ooh-bleh and goh-gleh.

Ah, OK. I know some basic Spanish (I'm in Spanish III in school). Your post makes a lot more sense with Spanish pronounciation.
