programming task

Dear guys,

i'm new in this forum but always use the references,
now i think i need your hand .
Tomorrow i'm going to have a job programming task question with limited time but its my first time to face it and i don't know how to handle it.

another things is i have some years experience in c++ programming but i think at this time i don't know any.
during these years i just did some logic things( loops ,simple class, overloading ,...)

they ask me to do general programming and solve a problem.
they just told me to use standard library that's it , not more information ..

:(

it seems horrible.
I have stress before knowing what's gonna happen, please guide me how to tackle it ?

Have you read and understood the problem? Have you written a skeleton of the program? Do you know how to solve it in your head?
