How to make sound fx for games?

Hi Cplusplus community, it's been a while since i last started a topic. So i made my own little League of Legends game with 2 champions so far and i need to make voices for each individual champion (both of them are ogre-like champions) what software can help me achieve that? i know nothing about sound effects(for games) so any help i can collect from you guys would be appreciated!
I haven't played with sound in awhile, but Audacity was cool when I messed with it.
Well Audacity seems pretty good, i'll give it a shot thank you Biscuit:)
Sound effects/design is a whole field of its own. Pure Data http://puredata.info/ is an interesting tool you can use to make/edit effects. http://www.soundlibrarian.com/ Has a pretty massive library of sound effects if you want to sink some money into it (some = $400-$2000)
And as RB said, Audacity is pretty great.
