ants and my digital gadgets

I don't know what should i do to stop ants going inside my external HDD,laptop-keyboard,mobiles..............
They love these places i assume they love warm places

But I am worried that they may destroy my digital life
Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

I don`t know what to call it but get this type of powder that you put in corners, ants eat, they die. Sprays to. Local store should have it.
