How to prepare for IT Management?

My question is pretty general and for those who have current experience IT management. I am currently majoring in Computer Information Systems(CIS) at a California University and was looking for some advice on what else I should be studying in my free time to be more well-rounded and expand my knowledge past what was taught in Uni. I am currently taking an online Cisco course in my free time.

You're not going to graduate and be given a management position right away. If management is your end goal, take plenty of business and communication classes. But really, you're going to have to work your way up just like everybody else.
