I have mixed feelings about it. While there are quite a few people on this forum with fantastic experience and mastery of C++ that would be of assistance, the moment you mention games you need someone that can advise on OpenGL, Ogre3d, SDL, Allegro, DirectX, and any other C/C++ APIs that are out there. Not to mention you will suddenly have a ridiculous flood of amatuer game programmers storming the forums with SDL hello world questions. It's also very difficult to stand up next to say GameDev.net's forums on game programming because of the sheer number of topics revolving around game programming, from game dynamics to lighting, etc... On the other hand this is a C++ forum and C++ IS the game programming language of choice, and the onslaught of game coding related questions will continue regardless, so maybe it isn't that bad of an idea to add Beginning Game Programming to start with. All of my questions I pose typically have game programming at the root lol.
