Oh, I thought you meant the if should be a while loop. Okay, now we are on the same page :). Though, Script Coder is right, the way he did the if statement was redundant.

If the word starts with a consonant move the consonant to the end of the word and add "ay".
If it starts with a vowel just add "yay" or some people add "hay" or move the vowel to the end of the word and add "ay".
