About the role:
One of our clients is a leading emerging markets investment bank and is rapidly expanding their algorithmic/low-latency trading operation. thecitysecret are looking to establish a team to work alongside their team of technologists and traders.

The ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Unix operating systems, and programming in a low latency environment. Expertise in C and C++ are of interest.

A minimum of 4 years experience is needed.

The position involves working within a growing team who are supporting our client from either our offices in Richmond, North Yorkshire or Leeds. The projects involved are complex, fast moving and on tight deadlines so the ability to prioritise and manage time will be essential. The precise nature of the work will be variable requiring an adaptable skillset and a quick learner.

As the role involves working closely with a remote team, the ideal applicant must have excellent communication skills.
