Job descriptions
• Requires in-depth knowledge of infrastructure technology.
• Has broad understanding of current infrastructure technology solutions.
• Oversees the resolution of challenging and complex technical requests and problems.
• Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence and process skills to help internal/external customers and stakeholders identify and meet their high priority needs while considering cultural and diversity implications.
• Jointly develops practical implementation plans that consider cultural sensitivities with other accountable parties.
• Encourages informed Risk-taking and acts as a catalyst for innovation at Client end. Generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources.
• Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices
• Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
• 5 plus years of Altiris administration experience in 6.x and/or 7.x a must
• Workflow experience a plus.SQL transact experience a must
• Asset management administration experience a must
• Service desk administration experience a must
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Proficient PC skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to communicate to all levels of end users, IT and Management staff
• Ability to articulate growth, future needs and direction for desktop technologies
• A team player and able to work well with others
• Comfortable in all aspects of the IT environment
• Self starter able to complete tasks with minimal instruction and supervision
• Experience in a validated or regulated environment
