JOB DESCRIPTION: The Software Engineer will be part of a system development team, incrementally developing and deploying system components. Under limited supervision will perform software requirement analysis, design, development and modification of custom applications, will write detailed documentation, perform unit and integration testing, support system and acceptance testing as required. Will determine procedures and prepare documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of applications/programs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Candidate must have at least 3 years full-time hands on experience with C# and Microsoft.NET platform (2.0 or later), JavaScript, DOM, HTML, and CSS. Candidate's without required skills will not be considered.
-Must have hands on experience using Oracle and MS SQL Server, SMTP, messaging.
-5 years of IT full life cycle development experience to support the design, development and maintenance of web and client/server applications.
-Candidate must have IT Engineer skills including design, development and multi-level testing of client-server and web applications.
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or related technical discipline.
-Candidate must possess/demonstrate attention to details, good verbal and written communications skills and have ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Working knowledge of jQuery, Prototype, Ajax. Hands on experience with Java, professional certifications(s) with Microsoft .NET technologies or/and Java is a definite plus. We will prefer candidates with ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) experience.
