Software Engineer | Software Engineer - Toronto, Canada M5H1P9 ON

From Comic Con San Diego to Tomorrowland Belgium and everything in-between, our team is providing superior festival and live event experiences through seamless delivery of our innovative technologies.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and help with our existing platforms and products as well as our next generation products.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in software engineering experience. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with other internal teams such as DevOps, operations and support teams to develop information systems by maintaining, designing, developing and installing software solutions in order to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

*Lead, Develop, and maintain battle tested systems;
*Collaborate and prioritize work with other members of the development and product team;
*Assist with migration of services to next generation product;
*Integrate new hardware devices to existing ecosystem;
*Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, code comments and clear code;
*Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming;
*Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.

Minimum Qualifications

*7+ years experience with Qt 5.x/QML (or later);
*Experience with C#;
*Experience in SSRS, SSIS and Entity Framework;
*Experience in relational databases and programming - SQLite, MSSQL, T-SQL based stored procedures;
*Experience with networking programming, communication protocols (sockets, web-sockets, HTTP(s), REST, JSONRPC);
*Familiarity with Git, JIRA, MSBuild, Jenkins, Confluence or similar CI/CD tools;
*Familiarity in Cloud Infrastructure.

Nice to Have

*Experience in Point of Sales development;
*Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Sencha Framework;
*Familiarity in Android development using Java;
