Hi guys, soon I am moving to Germany and I want to land a C++ job quite quickly, but let's say I'm not too confident when it comes to job hunting, is there any good place to look at? I tried the big players like monster.de but like half of the offers are not by employers but proxies and usually there is no salary range (these for me mean low salary).
I was recommended this https://germantechjobs.de/jobs/C++/all which looks fantastic but there is only one job there near Essen (where I am going to live) so doesn't leave me with much choice (low-paid but kind of interesting though).
There is https://www.jobvector.com/ but again there's not much (for me actually none lol) and I can't filter the tech, let alone language (I hate German language :P)
I will do what I can but maybe some of you have some experience at job hunting?
Thank you for your view on the topic! I managed to snatch a remote opportunity (actually my first serious remote job) in Munich and so far it's been okay.
If you're going to be living in Germany for any length of time– over a month or so– you're going to have to learn the language if you want to get anything done. German isn't actually all that hard; a lot of it is very similar to English.
Then, if someone asks you "Sprechen sie deutsch?"
You can say "Then droppen sie ded!"

Actually what you'd say is "Ja, meinherr" or something to that effect.
That's a fair point, but I really wanted to "get by" with just English for the time being, as in the language required for the job.
I actually know some German but on a primary school level, I think the immersion will do its job and I will acquire the language just by living there! I can't imagine myself mulling over the grammar :D
