Job description:

• The position includes development, maintenance and support of systems built on C++ and UNIX.
• Business analysis to support customer with IT-solutions mapped to existing business processes
• Requirements collection within enhancement and new development activities
• System analysis
• Development
• Perform system tests within enhancement and new development activities, and also integration tests with several others system and different middleware like VCOM and WMQ
• Application support of systems within existing application portfolio

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience from Maintenance work.
• Experience from developing C++ applications on Unix
• Long experience from using Oracle / SQL and Windows
• Strong knowledge of the Truck Electronic Architecture, both version 2 and version 2+ is a must
• Other technical qualifications needed: ksh, XML-Spy, Sun Studio, Apache, PhP, toad, Shell scripting, Vinst, Webservices
• Application development experience.

Responsibilities
• Close customer cooperation
• Leading enhancement tasks and system deployments
• Producing requirements documentation within projects or enhancement activities
• Troubleshooting problems in systems and providing timely diagnosis of problems
• Producing and reviewing documentation
• Performing system and integration testing, and assisting with acceptance testing
• Cost and time estimations of tasks
• CR - planning


Location
• This position is based at the IT office in Curitiba, Brazil
• Availability for travelling
