My team at Isotope SoftWorks (
https://www.facebook.com/Isotope-TDGMods-232903863419077/) is looking for another supplemental programmer to help us work on engine code for our first-person horror game Hypertension: Harmony of Darkness.
It uses our custom, open-source DOOM-like engine called 3DGE:
https://github.com/3dfxdev/hyper3DGE
We are looking for a programmer who can assist myself and another with finishing up stuff in the engine at a quick pace.
While we are not a huge studio, we can pay $200/month (possibly 300, depending on how fast you work) in good faith via PayPal. We have a publisher as well (GOAT Store Publishing,
https://www.goatstore.com/).
For signing on, you will immediately receive $100 as a good-faith payment, as well as a detailed schematic of the game engine. You will also be invited to a Skype group with myself and the other developers who work closely with the programming team to implement small features.
More information:
The game engine uses OpenGL. It is based on OpenGL 1.1, and OpenGL 2.1 support has been worked in, though we could use more features from the newer OpenGL backend (cubemaps, shadows, BSP upgrades, etc).
We would also need help with the utility code.
The engine is heavily documented and I am one of the programmers, so we can collaborate and work together.
I look forward to hearing from you!
