If you have experience with C++ and are up for a challenge, you might be interested in our C++ Master Class on 11, 12 and 13 May 2016!

What you’ll do
On Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 May we have invited Global Knowledge to deliver Scott Meyer’s two day ‘Fastware for C++’ training at our Amsterdam office. You’ll participate in this training together with our own developers and learn about the latest C++ practices to develop low latency software. On Friday 13 May you will put what you have learnt to the test in an assignment to develop your own low latency trading strategy.

The Master Class covers three full working days. You will be asked to do some homework prior to the date, but we will inform you about this in more detail in a timely manner. Optiver will arrange your travel and accommodation and we will schedule some social activities with the other participants as well.

After the Master Class we will award the best participants with a job offer!

What you’ll need
- a degree (or 6 months to go until your expected graduation date), preferably in Computer Science, IT Engineering or Information Systems;
- experience with C++;
- knowledge of STL, Boost and other popular (open source) C++ libraries;
- interest in High Performance Computing, low latency and real-time development.
