The Scientific Computing Group in the outstation of Forschungszentrum Jülich at the German research reactor FRM II in Garching in Munich develops open-source software for the analysis of neutron scattering experiments.
We offer a postdoctoral fellowship in scientific software development and data analysis. The initial contract is for three years.
Requirements: University degree and PhD in physics or a related subject; Experience in software development; Interest in both service-oriented and research-oriented work; Communication skills in English and willingness to learn some German.
