We are looking for an experienced software engineer for our multi-device and multi-user security offering SAFE. The position is in Online Safety team responsible for the online protection part of SAFE. Online Safety provides browsing protection, parental control, banking protection and similar protection layers for users. It works in conjunction with Computer Security, our anti-malware component in keeping people safe on the internet.

The position offers a great view over the largest F-Secure product, possibility to work with an international group of true security professionals and a real possibility to make a difference in people’s life by securing their life online.

In the daily work you will design and implement Online Safety features, take part in designing the future for the product. You will also need to keep up to date with the future opportunities the new browsers and operating system versions give for making our product even better. You are responsible for making sure that your designs work with the other parts of SAFE and are reusable by other F-Secure products.

The teams you work with have fluent and flexible ways of working and in their tasks lead themselves. You’re expected to be able to do the same. However whenever you do need help, second opinion or a sparring for a new idea, there is always someone available.
