Function description:
As Software Development Engineer, you will be involved in the further extension and improvements of the Test.Lab product family.
The latter is a suite of high-tech software applications that are used to measure, analyze and optimize the dynamic mechanical and acoustical behavior of real-life structures such as cars, planes, bridges, rockets. Our solutions are used by leading engineering centers of major automotive, aerospace and mechanical companies across the world to design and optimize their next generation of products.
Applications cover Acoustics data acquisition and analysis, Modal analysis, Transfer Parth Analysis, Highspeed Data Recording and Data Acquisition and Processing for Rotating Machinery.
For that reason we are looking for people with a genuine interest and experience in digital signal processing.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of Test.Lab software components.

Key tasks:
Analysis & design, starting from functional specifications
Development and optimization of code implementation of numerical algorithms for existing and new analysis methods
Coding and testing, including development of automatic test routines
Writing documentation for the developed code
Integration testing and bug-fixing

Specific technical competencies:
Proven skills in C++, OO development methodology and UML
Extensive knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (sampling technology, digital filtering)
Knowledge or experience in applied Numerical Mathematics is an asset
Knowledge of matrix algebra
Expertise in software design and architecture
Languages: good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
