Job Type: Contract / Contract to Perm,
Positions : 2 (1 contract + 1 Contract to Perm),
Period : 6 months for Contract , If you choose contract to perm, after 6months you will become permanent employee.
Location : New York City, NY.


Job Summary:

Looking for a senior level developer(s) with a strong background in C++ and object oriented concepts. Must have solid hands-on experience building distributed, multi-tired systems along with strong database design skills. The right candidate will be comfortable working with both Windows and Linux environments with strong analytical skills. Solid financial services experience along with solid industry standard code versioning and change request systems experience along with network and socket coding experience. MUST have excellent communication skills in order to speak vertically within the firm.

Required Skills:

6+ years experience with C++
6+ years in multi-threaded and real time programming with high performance applications
Experience with Compliance and/or trading applications
Strong Financial Services experience
Solid SDLC understanding including Agile principles, continuous integration and test driven development
3+ years of some type of GUI or UI experience such as WPF
Strong hands on experience with PERL, SQL or other scripting language
Sybase experience is a plus
Experience with Compliance software a strong plus.
