The R&D software training team of our financial services client builds customized applications using the latest technologies and serves a technical staff of thousands. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve the dual role of technical trainer and software engineer. The successful candidate will develop and deliver technical training to R&D software developers, working closely with other parts of R&D to analyze technical training needs and to provide training for job skills, as well as professional development programs.

REQUIREMENTS

-MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-4+ years of hands-on C/C++ professional software development experience
-Experience as an instructor or trainer
-Solid knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Modular/Object-Oriented design
-Experience with database technologies (Oracle, MySQL)
-Knowledge of XML, SOAP, PHP, and Perl
-Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
