Essential Requirements:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years commercial software development experience.
- Experience with developing backend Services.
- Experience with Azure, Bing or similar server technologies is required.
- Strong C#/ ASP.NET /MVC development skills
- Expert level HTML/CSS/JS (including AJAX/JQuery) development experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment
- Ability to understand key business needs in line with priorities and apply the right technology to the solution.

Desirable Requirements:

- An understanding and appreciation for highly scale-able distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL Server & T-SQL.
- Enjoys a collaborative environment with PMs and drives innovations
- Start-up experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the media industry a distinct advantage.
- Good understanding of Software Product Cycle Models.

Responsibilities:

- To successfully drive feature areas from inception to design, implementation, and integration into the product line, throughout the full product cycle where possible anticipating feature enhancement needs ensuring that the overall user experience is compatible with design objectives.
- To convey a clear understanding of the overall product architecture in the design and implementation for your feature areas balancing functionality, performance, dependency, quality, and reliability.
- To review or complete functional and technical specs to ensure that they contain appropriate detail eliminating the need for revisions during the coding process.
- To develop and review processes on an ongoing basis to ensure more efficiency in terms of time and quality.
- To work closely with the wider team to understand, analyze, and influence platform technologies and tools.
- To develop and support automation of processes.
- To research new tools or technologies and recommend how to implement them into new code
