Tutorial Books- which one, and the best way forward?

All,

I have recently come back to coding after a short break, but i can remember barely anything! I am tired of using thenewboston videos because they are really long winded.

Can someone recommend me an ebook that is:

FREE
WELL EXPLAINED & EASY TO USE
GOES THROUGH BASICS RIGHT UP TO ADVANCED
HAS WORKED EXAMPLES AND EXERCISES
EXPLAINS IN DETAIL FOR A SEMI-BEGINNER PROGRAMMER.

What is the most thorough ebook for me? Are ebooks the best way forward, or is there another method some people have?

I would be very grateful if someone were to help me.

R

P.S A list would be great, ill find the downloads if you can give me the names of them please!
Have you tried using a search engine with the search text of "c++ free ebook", as you will find quite a few. Like:

http://www.cplusplus.com/files/tutorial.pdf

Would anyone recommend what is suggested in this link?

Well you stipulated you wanted a free ebook, they're not free. Personally, I prefer real books for programming, I have bought a few technical ebooks but have found I just prefer real paper books. What platform do you intend to program for? I used to use Ivor Hortons Visual C++ books to start with, but I do program on Windows professionally, but prefer OSX to Windows, but the money is mainly with Windows programming.
well Right now i am reading a book in pdf called C++ a beguinner's guide second edition by Hebert schildt, and i can say that you can find in it everything you need as you mentioned WELL EXPLAINED & EASY TO USE, GOES THROUGH, BASICS RIGHT UP TO ADVANCED, HAS WORKED EXAMPLES AND EXERCISES, EXPLAINS IN DETAIL FOR A SEMI-BEGINNER PROGRAMMER and Progress checks with questions.
