c++ program which adds text onto an image

Hello

I want to create a program using c++ which will accept text from the user and then adds it onto a image of a form in specific locations (if that makes sense?)

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? and what libraries will be required?

For that stuff, I am using QT Framework. Never worked with other libraries or frameworks.
