Reading data in .txt format

Feb 13, 2009 at 12:28pm
Hi there, I been trying to create a way to read data that is stored in .txt format.

I have tried to use fopen and fread, but it since like they are not pick the content in the .txt file.

Can any one tell me how to retrieve data that is in .txt format and after processing can save it in another .txt form.

I try to compile into this program I got on encryption but keep on have this error on the getline.

Any idea what it mean?
/*
// Include stdio.h for standard input/output.
// Used for giving output to the screen.
#include<cstdio>
#include<time.h>
#include<iostream>
#include<fstream>
#include<string>
using namespace std;

Value=4
#define Nb 4

actual value is recieved in the program.

Can you please put your code inside the
CODE HERE
brackets - as reading through slabs and chunks of stuff isn't exactly to easy :)
Feb 14, 2009 at 6:04am
The very first line of your posted program code... is the '/*' really in the code. If it is your entire program is commented out.
