Hi guys!
Happy New Year to all!
I am having an excruciatingly painful issue with ASIO programming in MS XP. My routine reads some uninteligent sequence from ASIO. Runing Hyperterminal prior to launching my application rectifies the problem. I am guessing that the issue lies within the setting of the communication port. Tried everything I can think of and still haven't made an inch of a progress. I have a feeling this is not an easy issue and I am not cluttering this posting just to save your time. All the details will be available immediately once we establish a communication.
I would appreciate if someone can assist me in this matter. I am an old-time programmer and I hope this is a promissing sign that a solution won't be long to work out.

FWIW: I had the same problem when I connected ASIO to the oprt in my prt replicator, but not when I connected it directly to the PC. Is this your case as well?
