Reading an encoded AAC file

Hey,
So I want to parse an encoded AAC file. Every time I parse it and print the output I get junk values. So I have no real way of parsing it. I wanted to know how I can get the data as binary values.
Thanks

I can read an .AAC file but this is the output I get. ∙l@▲?ⁿ▐4
Is there any way to interpret this in binary so that I can actually parse it and do something with it.
