Finding project partners

I am new to C++ I just finished my second semester of computer science but I got very good grades and i am really passionate about this field. For the past few months I have been trying to find an idea for a program. Even better some one I can program with, I believe group work is better. I think this might be the place to find both ideas and people. I want to start by saying I am available for anything really as long as i can help out i am willing to do so. I want to gain more experience and i just enjoy learning more about C++ and coding in C++. Like I said I am a beginner but I would really love to meet people with this same interest and work on what might become an awesome project or just something I will think is cool when we finish it.
