OpenAL Help

I'm beginning with OpenAL. I already know OpenGL so learning the syntax won't be much different and I'm pretty experienced in C++.

I want to make a basic program that amplifies the users input through a
mic. Basically making your computer an amp.

Can someone please give me the source code to do such so I can learn from it? I see that is how I learn the best lol.

I am using Dev-C++ but if I have to I can use Visual Studio 2010 as I have both.
