DFS & BFS in a puzzle

Hi everyone. I need help.

I want to make a programm to solve this puzzle ---> http://grokcode.com/images/e2-final.gif

I have to write it from the beginning.

1) Find a way to digitalize the parts of the puzzle
2) Write the code for DFS
3) Write the code for BFS

any solutions?
