Application programming

I have taken programming in c++ learned the basics, for&while loops, pointers, etc... I am current using visual studio to create, compile, build, and execute my programs.
I am starting a summer project to try to code .dll and inject it into running applications, which i cannot really find any good tutorials or information on it if anyone could please give me a reference or a full command list of c++ commands that would be great.
Like in java you can .import alot of stuff is there a way to import stuff to a c++ program?
