Switch within switch

are there any problems with putting a switch within a switch? Is there some special format, or do I just put in another switch with a diffierent variable?

You can nest switch statements. There isn't any special format required. What are you trying to accomplish though?

you select a shop (theres the first switch)
within each shop there are a punch of items to purchase
you select an item (theres the second switch)
